Dates and Updates from the PA

February 21, 2017 - 4:26pm

Welcome to a new school year!

The first Wednesday every month (except August) is an early dismissal day (2:00pm pick-up) and a Spirit Wear (RWS shirt/green and white colors) day. (Aftercare is available)

You can purchase Spirit Wear any time the school is open. The actual gear is in the drawers of the glass cabinet in the Great Hall. The purchase forms can be found on the table by the display gear.  All purchases will be invoiced. Questions? Just ask in the office.

The first Thursday of the month (when it follows an early dismissal) is Pretzel Day -- bring a dollar to carpool to exchange for a Pretzel Boy pretzel.  February and March pretzel days are the second Thursday.

Your Parent Association board consists of Valerie Hoffmann, Caroline Chamberlin, Haley McGinnis and Jamie Davidson -- if you have any ideas about get-togethers, fundraisers or ways to help out in or around the school, please let them know. Please don't be shy!

How to access a stoplight to make a left hand turn onto Manchester: After exiting Rohan Woods, head towards Manchester. Turn Left off of Bennett at Rear Street. (It runs behind the Antiques Mall / King Doh strip mall.) You'll go down a hill then up a hill. Turn Right at the stop sign by Taco Bell. You are now at a stoplight which allows you to turn Left onto Manchester. (Please yield to oncoming traffic.)

There are easy ways to support the school without doing much extra stuff: see below for details.

Do not speed in Warson Woods. The local police force is both courteous and watchful!
