Third and Fourth Grade

Third and Fourth Grade are important years in the Rohan Woods academic sequence of instruction. These years include increased personal responsibility for academics, leadership and all aspects of the classroom learning. The pace and volume of instruction begin to increase, as well as the planning and staging of long-term projects are introduced and practiced.

Developmentally, the students are ready to begin taking a role in the school community and apply previously learned leadership skills. Increased public speaking opportunities help students gain confidence and poise, setting the foundation for success in upper school.
