Early Childhood to Junior Kindergarten
Within the close-knit community of Rohan Woods School, our youngest students (aged two to four) are cherished by everyone. Our children work with interest and focus, developing self-confidence, independence and a life-long love of learning.
Our program is centered around the natural curiosity that exists in children and builds on this intrigue with age-appropriate academics that encourage learning in a creative and supportive environment. The academic component of our program combines small class sizes and outstanding educators to stimulate individual learning styles and enrich each student’s overall experience.
In addition to the academic component, students are also given time in which to grow, be themselves and play. Time spent in our large, shaded playground, outdoor Science garden and full-size gym helps to facilitate not only the development of gross-motor skills but facilitates socialization and problem solving.
Each child in our Preschool Program experiences everything our older students enjoy. Specialty classes in music, physical education, Spanish, science and art are integrated into the curriculum, to enrich and to deepen each child’s preschool experience.
