EVERY Rohan Woods parent is a member of the Parents’ Association (PA). A very active organization, the PA provides support for the School at the request of the Board of Trustees by organizing activities meant to bring families together in social, and sometimes, fundraising settings. Because of our school's small student body, parents often make lifelong friends through volunteering for or attending PA events.
All parents are invited to attend the PA meetings. These meetings can include an address from the Head of School, a faculty presentation on a segment of the advanced learning curriculum the students are currently pursuing, or progress reports on some of the events the PA has undertaken.
The cornerstone of a successful Parents’ Association is the involvement of parent volunteers in the capacity of friend raising, as well as fundraising. Short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities exist to meet the needs of every family.
