Rohan Woods’ Parents’ Association (PA) promotes and encourages parent involvement at the request of the Board of Trustees. The PA organizes activities that bring families together in both fund- and friend-raising settings. Our parents have supported our school and forged new friendships by attending or volunteering at annual events such as Trunk or Treat, Trivia Night, and our Parents’ Wine Tasting. The PA also supports the school with a fall take-home fundraiser, a spring fair, and helping to activate a large-scale fund-raiser each year.
Every RWS parent is a member of the PA, and all are invited to PA meetings, held approximately every two months during the school year. These meetings can include updates from our Head of School, faculty or student presentations, topics related to education and child development, and PA progress reports. Great snacks are always available!
Our PA recognizes that every family has different schedules. Long- and short-term volunteer opportunities exist, enabling everyone a chance to lend a hand with our efforts.
