Storytime & Playdates Return This Fall!

Fridays during the school year ...
Story Time for Little Ones
Join us! Friday mornings from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. to enjoy a story, hands-on activity, and snack! For children ages 18 months to 5 years and their parents. This event is free.

Rohan Woods wants to help parents instill a lifelong love of reading for every child. Story time at Rohan Woods School is specially designed for children as young as 18 months of age up to five years. Using an interactive storytelling format, your child will be truly engaged in learning and loving to read.

Reading aloud should be fun! Therefore, all parents are asked to participate in story time with your child. Knowing that it is hard to sit still, please feel free to stand up, move about and be a part of the story. We do ask that you keep your child at your side and should your child become too loud or disruptive, please step outside for a moment or until the story is complete.

Sessions are FREE and open to Rohan Woods families as well as non-Rohan Woods families. Bring a friend and enjoy a wonderful story, an engaging hands-on activity, and a delicious snack to make the morning complete!

Saturdays during the school year ...
Playdates
Join us! Children ages 2–6 are invited to experience Rohan Woods School at our monthly playdates on Saturday mornings. Come ready to make new friends and play, play, play! This event is free. Scheduled dates include: October 16, November 13, January 22 (2011), and February 12 (2011).

We Just Keep On Growing!

In keeping with our founders' original idea of educating the whole child, Rohan Woods School is pleased to announce the expansion of its educational offerings with the addition of a class for two-year-old children for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year.

"We saw a need within our own family base for a quality early childhood development program and we are pleased that we will be able to offer this to current families as well as prospective families for the coming school year," commented Sam Page, director of admissions at Rohan Woods School.

"Our Kindergarten Preparatory Experience will now begin with our Early Childhood Program and extend through our Senior Kindergarten Program -- four wonder-filled ages and classrooms that blend together as part of a uniquely tailored early educational experience for children ages 2 through 5," Page continued.

The new class will offer enriching and engaging learning experiences for children who are two years old as of August 1. If you or a family you know has a toddler who is eager to make new friends, learn, explore, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment, please get in touch with Director of Admissions Sam Page.
