A large part of the Rohan Woods culture involves helping others. Below is a list of the many charities and causes that our students and families support each year.
Hats on Day -- raising money and awareness for Friends of Kids with Cancer (coordinated by Junior Kindergarten class)
KidSmart Tools for Learning -- collecting school supplies for students in need (coordinated by Senior Kindergarten class)
Nurses for Newborns -- collecting infant care items for mothers in need (coordinated by Pre-Kindergarten and Third Grade classes)
Old Newsboys Day -- raising funds for area children's charities (coordinated by Junior Kindergarten and Sixth Grade classes)
Open Door Animal Sanctuary -- collecting pet care items for stray and rescued animals (coordinated by Second Grade class)
Missouri/Illinois Foster Care Coalition -- collecting coats for children in foster care (coordinated by the Fifth Grade class)
St. Louis Area Food Bank -- sorting and boxing food for area food pantries (conducted by staff and faculty)
St. Patrick's Center -- collecting food, clothing, essentials and a few surprises for an adopted family at the holidays (coordinated by the First Grade class)
Shoes for Haiti -- collecting shoes to help in the provision of clean drinking water for people in Haiti (coordinated by the Fourth Grade class)
Sunshine Ministries -- collecting cereal of all kinds to feed the homeless and those in need (coordinated by the Second Grade class)
UNICEF -- raising money during Halloween trick or treating (coordinated by the Sixth Grade class)
